A special joint meeting of Bryan City Council and Bryan Board of Public Affairs has been called for 5 p.m. Wednesday in council chambers.
There are two items on the agenda.
One is a resolution allowing the mayor to enter into a purchase agreement with Nihart Real Estate, LLC, for 15 acres of land in the Bryan North Industrial Park. The total purchase price is $150,000. The resolution also says that money will go back into the city’s electric fund since the original funds used to purchase land in the industrial park in 2014 came from there.
There is also an ordinance to rescind a previously passed ordinance approving a similar deal that dealt with just under six and a half acres of land in the Bryan Industrial and Commercial Complex.
